Business Terms and Conditions
Please notify us if settlement of the account is being arranged by solicitor or other advisor.
Payment of our account is required within 14 days from the date of invoice.
If you are experiencing difficulties in settling the invoice, we can offer a mutual repayment agreement, this is down to
the discretion of Bowley and Sons Ltd. For further information contact our office on 0161 222 8283.
Third Party disbursements we pay on your behalf, are outside our control and therefore, may be subject to variation.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or BACS.
FEES YOU MUST PAY (to the Cemetery For Burials)
For an Attended Funeral or Unattended burial,
- Residents Fee £1,070 - prices may vary
- Non Resident £1,885 - prices may vary
New Grave Fees Vary depending on chosen cemetery as you will need to purchase the plot:
for an existing grave with a memorial in place, you may need to pay a removal/replacement fee.
In addition, the cemetery may charge a number of other fees, which is sometimes called the interment fee, the charge
made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave, Bowley and Sons may obtain a price for you.
Please discuss any specific religious , belief based and/or cultural requirements that you have with the funeral director.

Cremations
Whether you would prefer for the whole service to take place at the crematorium or would like to utilise a different venue first, we can accommodate. We are also happy to explain the cremation process and the time restrictions that this will involve - please give us a call to discuss.
Burials
Many people want to make use of a family grave, while some would prefer to look for a new one. Either way, we are able to offer expert and helpful advice regarding what is available. We can also help choose a location and a coffin that is appropriate for this.
Religious Services
If your loved one had religious or cultural beliefs, we can tailor their funeral service to accommodate these. The service can be carried out by a minister of any religion if preferred. We also arrange funerals for people with no religious beliefs where a celebrant or a member of your family will lead the service.

Whatever you desire for your loved one's funeral, we will make it happen. You may wish to personalise your service with tributes, poems, songs, photos, or anything else. Many people also choose to reflect the life of their loved one through the choice of coffin, flowers, vehicle and much more.
If needed, we can organise and arrange almost all aspects of the funeral service including coffins, vehicles horse drawn carriages, newspaper announcements and orders of service.
